About Gero3D

Short: Gero3D is an Israeli orthopedic technology company that turns a tablet scan of a patient's limb into an automatically designed, 3D-printed cast.

Long: Gero3D (Gero) builds software for personalized orthopedics. Clinics scan the injured limb with the Gero app on an iPad; the Gero design engine generates a cast fitted to that one patient in about 40 seconds, a task that takes about 45 minutes by hand; and certified production partners print it and ship it to the clinic within 3 days. The cast weighs about 60 g, compared with 1.5 to 2 kg for traditional plaster, is water-resistant and comes off without a saw. Gero3D was founded in 2023 and is based in Tel Aviv.
